I love Ocean Waves. Try them and you will get hooked, seriously hooked. The people that work there have great attitudes, and are very professional Where do I start,...I never used to like massages but my wife talked me into a chair message one day. Now I am hooked and average a massage a month. Go there anytime you are at Southdale, I do.

I'm a professional "massage receiver", so I know a good massage when I get one! I use to work on cruise ships as a Cruise Director and would get a one hour massage once a week for two years. I'm addicted to getting a 20 minute chair massage as a good tune-up, however, to really get the full "experience" you've got to make an appointment for a half hour to one hour table massage. I'm hooked...Ocean Waves is the place to get your next massage!

Pros: Well-trained and friendly therapists

Cons: It's in a mall

This is a great little massage store. Actually was my BEST MASSAGE and I"ve tried many fancy spas. Although small they've managed to create a virtual vacation feeling to it, and it's great to be massaged among palm trees and soothing sounds. It's become my retreat after shopping. I hesitated to write a review as I didn't want my little secret to go out but I think they really deserve my positive comments.

Pros: atmosphere, massage quality, service

Cons: small, parking is upstairs but very short walk

I postponed my back surgery as since I went to ocean Waves my back is much better. I did the Hydrotherapy massage and then a hands on massage and unbelieavably the numbness I had in my arms and hands have disappeared. The staff is very sweet and attentious. The owner is very knowledgeable and is great to talk with.

I came across this store some time ago and had no clue what it was about untill I decided to adventure in. It is the most amazing concept I've ever seen. I thought I was back in Hawaii. The staff is totally dedicated to giving you a good time. I actually felt totally at home and did not want to leave that paradise I had encountered nestled next to the Apple computer shop in Southdale Center. I spent 2 hours in this store and only spent $35 for their sampler package. What could one want more!!

Pros: good parking, inexpensive, excellent service

This was my first-time massage. I am a skeptical person so when my husband suggested this place for a full body massage, I didn't go with any expectations. I spent a 1 hour session with their massage therapist and trust me, it was so relaxing and refreshing that I almost dozed off. Although I would agree that a shopping mall may not be the best place for a massage spa, but for the price and quality of service, you can't beat Ocean Waves. The staff was very courteous, the therapist very professional. My back feels so much better now. Now my husband is seriously thinking of getting one for himself.
